# The Keepers

A film series: one person, one collection, per film — past the alarm that has a name, into rooms of fuel and patience. First visits are shot this winter.

Some collections you are shown. The ones that matter you are let into: past the alarm that has a name, under the door that weighs more than the cars, into rooms where the air is mostly fuel and patience. Next winter, we start filming there.

The Keepers is a documentary series about the people who actually hold the cars everyone else merely prices. One person, one collection, per film. The camera stays long enough for the truth to get comfortable: the childhood poster, the deal that still stings, the one that will never be sold, said out loud for the first time.

The interviewer is not a journalist. It is the specialist who prices these cars for a living, which changes the conversation: the person asking how it felt is the same person who knows, to the franc, what the feeling is currently worth. That tension is the series.

Some keepers will appear as hands and voices only. Members are quietly known; that will not change on film.

Every episode ends on the same question. What’s it worth to you? Nobody has answered with a number yet.

The first visits are being filmed this winter. The films arrive when they are ready: this is not a channel, it is a shelf.
