Manual, light, unwinged
The 911 R joined the 500 PS engine of the 991 GT3 RS to a six-speed manual and removed the fixed wing. All 991 were numbered, but options vary widely; original build specification, mileage and the single-mass flywheel matter to valuation.

Overview
A numbered correction to the 991 formula.
Porsche showed the 911 R at Geneva in March 2016. The model combined GT3 RS power with manual control, less sound insulation, lightweight glass and a body without the RS wing.
The series was capped at 991 cars. Early resale prices rose sharply before manual gearboxes returned to the series-production GT3, which changed the 911 R from the only answer to the first modern answer.
