The execution

The one-off flat-16 test carrier — PA chassis 027 lengthened for experimental 6.0- and 7.2-litre engines, never raced.

Porsche converted the existing PA Spyder chassis into a development mule for the flat-16 programme. The engine grew from 6.0 to 7.2 litres, but the car remained a test vehicle and never entered a race.
