275 GTB

The two-cam berlinetta

A long bonnet, a compact cabin and a rear-mounted transaxle mark a new chapter in Ferrari’s road berlinettas. The original 275 GTB pairs a 3.3-litre V12 with independent suspension at all four wheels. It is the two-cam car, distinct from the later 275 GTB/4.

How to read this forecast

P50 is the model median. The outer shading spans P10–P90; the darker band spans P25–P75. These are model quantiles, not verified probabilities or observed sale prices. The calculation extends the modeled trend and volatility; it does not include new listings, vehicle condition or transaction costs.

Overview

The two-cam berlinetta

Ferrari introduced the 275 GTB at the Paris Salon in 1964. It followed the 250-series berlinettas with a larger V12, a rear transaxle and independent suspension, under Pininfarina-designed coachwork built by Scaglietti.

The road car evolved through short- and long-nose forms. Carburettor choice, body material and driveline details vary between individual examples, so specification must be established at chassis level rather than inferred from appearance.

In 1966 the four-cam 275 GTB/4 succeeded the original GTB. This dossier covers the earlier two-cam road cars. Racing derivatives and later conversions need separate evidence and cannot simply be pooled into its market.

The expert benchmarks

What the trade would pay

The same car is a different price in Los Angeles and in Munich, and a delivery-mileage example is a different car from a driven one. These are the figures dealers quote to each other, by market and by mileage.
