365 GTB/4 “Daytona”

Front engine, rear transaxle

The Daytona kept Ferrari's V12 ahead of the driver while its rivals moved the engine behind the cabin. A rear transaxle balanced the 4.4-litre berlinetta; factory Spiders are a separate, much smaller market.

How to read this forecast

P50 is the model median. The outer shading spans P10–P90; the darker band spans P25–P75. These are model quantiles, not verified probabilities or observed sale prices. The calculation extends the modeled trend and volatility; it does not include new listings, vehicle condition or transaction costs.

Overview

Ferrari's last new front-V12 berlinetta before the Boxer era.

The 365 GTB/4 debuted at the Paris Salon in 1968 as the 275 GTB/4 replacement. Its full-width Plexiglas nose gave way to pop-up headlamps in 1971.

Competition Daytonas won their class at Le Mans in 1972, 1973 and 1974. The road berlinetta ended production in 1973; the mid-engined 365 GT4 BB took over Ferrari's two-seat flagship role.
