SF90 Stradale

Four motors, 1'000 cv

The first series plug-in Ferrari: a 780-cv twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors put 1'000 cv through all four wheels, the front axle purely electric. Named for Scuderia Ferrari's ninetieth season, sold without a production cap — body, options and the limited XX pair decide where a car stands.

Standard cars have settled 10–25% under US list after the 2022–23 over-list era. The 1'398 XX cars are a separate market: $1'700'000 on Bring a Trailer in December 2025 and $1'870'000 at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach in April 2026 mark the public ceiling.

Price range · road · openConfidence · mediumThe SF90 trades in volume, so guide coverage is deep — classic.com benchmarks the Stradale near $488k and the Spider near $600k, Hagerty's visible condition #3 sits at $469k for a 2022 car. The band spans ordinary cars: typical 2025–26 results cluster at $420k–$500k, Spiders above coupés, while heavily optioned and early retail-era cars still clear the top of it.

Auction totals include buyer's premium where the house reports it; Bring a Trailer figures are winning bids. Guide figures are date-stamped snapshots — Hagerty and classic.com, August 2026 — not appraisals; options, Assetto Fiorano and mileage move cars within the band.

Overview

Ninety years of Scuderia, one electric leap

Revealed on 29 May 2019, the SF90 Stradale carried Scuderia Ferrari's ninetieth anniversary in its name and a first in its spine: the first series-production plug-in hybrid from Maranello, the first four-wheel-drive Ferrari sports car, and the first time a V8 sat at the very top of the range. The recipe stacked a 780-cv evolution of the twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors for a round 1'000 cv.

The pandemic pushed first deliveries to late 2020, by which time the SF90 Spider had added a retractable hardtop and the Assetto Fiorano package had introduced a factory track specification alongside the standard car. Neither body carried a production cap — Ferrari never published totals, and its own reporting shows the SF90 family carrying a meaningful share of the record hybrid volumes of 2022 and 2023.

In June 2023 the XX programme, until then a track-only laboratory, produced its first road-legal cars: 799 XX Stradale coupés and 599 XX Spiders with 1'030 cv and a fixed wing, sold out before the reveal. An XX Stradale set Fiorano's road-car record at 1:17.309 that October. The coupé left production in mid-2024, the Spider in 2025, and in September 2025 the 849 Testarossa took over the architecture — closing the SF90's run as the car that made electrification a Ferrari argument.
