Paolo Martin reduced a Ferrari 512 S chassis to a low white disc with covered wheels and a forward-sliding canopy. It was a static Pininfarina show car first; the current owner later made chassis 0864 drive.

Overview
A racing chassis became a Pininfarina argument about shape.
Paolo Martin developed the design inside Pininfarina and the finished Modulo appeared at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show. It later travelled as a show object, including Expo '70 in Osaka.
Pininfarina transferred the car to James Glickenhaus in 2014. Subsequent mechanical work turned the static concept into a running car; this changed its usability, not its one-off status.
