The execution
The standard twin-turbo 2.9 V8 road car — the last model personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. 1,311 built, up from an originally planned 400.
Demand from thousands of would-be buyers pushed the run from 400 to 950 and finally past 1,300 cars. The earliest European cars — no catalysts, no adjustable suspension, sliding Lexan windows — are the purest of the breed and lead the market; catalytic converters and wind-up windows arrived from 1990.
